They either use present and past tenses, the former being the most common.īut some instances permit the use of future tense. Not often do students use the future tense in essays. Instances to Use Future Tense in an Essay Reading it becomes engaging and enjoyable without any sense of struggling to understand ideas. This is very crucial for the flow of your essay. This is a clear indication that they can get a picture of the turn of events. It makes the description clearer to the reader. If your essay describes historical events, you have to use past tense. Use past tense to describe that idea for easier understanding. For instance, past tense is ideal for emphasizing that people do not accept a particular idea. You must be careful with the tense you use in your essay. That is also the case when expressing people’s claims and opinions. Also, it describes the findings of a study in the present tense. It becomes easier for the reader to believe in what you are writing. The present tense shows that the fact is indeed true. Use present tense in an essay where you refer to existing facts. Your essay will be simple and clear to the point, without any sophistication. You can write your essay within the shortest time possible, and meeting deadlines will not be an issue. Writing an essay in the present tense is much easier. This is one of the reasons why writing in the present tense is common. The clarity in the essay engages the reader. It is easier to grasp the information the writer is passing across. The reader gets to experience every action as it unfolds. The present tense is ideal for creating a sense of immediacy. Deviating from the present tense might distort your sentence structure thereby complicating your essay. You must shun the past and future tenses to make your essay consistent. There are instances under which it becomes a must. You do not have to write every essay in the present tense. Instances to Use Present Tense in an Essay Generally, the present tense is ideal for writing essays. It will be easier to explain an event that is happening now. By using the present tense, you can easily describe theories. It allows you to write about current states of events more candidly. The present tense is common in academic writing. ![]() I totally forgot about my uterus being backwards until someone mentioned early back pain on this forum. What I did notice with this pregnancy is that my back HURTS and I couldn't figure out why it is happening so early. I am sure everything will be fine but I know it must be frustrating and scary but you will be fine :). It all depends though, on which type of tilt you have. Even in the late months they could'nt hardly find a heartbeat on the doppler, but they could see it on ultrasound. With labor, my pain was in my back as well as some of the other ladies on here. It was quite frustrating but that is how I got many ultrasounds. With my 8 year old they NEVER could hear the heartbeat with a doppler. It is a normal abnomality if that makes any sense. The device sends sound waves through your skin and tissue in search of any movement. Nobody liked to practice scanning on my uterus because they could'nt get good measurements. An at-home fetal Dopplersometimes referred to as a pocket fetal Doppleris a handheld baby heart monitor designed to help you hear baby’s heartbeat. I went to school for ultrasound and learned about it. There are different levels of tilted uteruses (spelling?). I also have a tilted uterus.mine is actually retroverted. I meant to write you last night but I fell asleep and forgot lol. Just frustrating when you're this early into being preggo! :) it's not the COMMON way for a uterus to go but that doesn't mean it's bad. She told me about 20% of women have a uterus that tilts backwards, so I think that's all your doc meant. Again, since it's backwards, she is limited with what she can feel since (as I understand) most of it is away from her. My midwife ALSO mentioned the difficulty of feeling the uterus fully, since I was nervous about the fact that she wouldn't be able to get a HB I asked if she was able to feel if the size of the uterus was on track for me being 8 weeks. The midwife said the uterus begins to come forward/upright as it grows so it shouldn't be an issue except at the beginning when apparently some tests won't be possible. I just have to wait a few more weeks until my next appt for them to try to hear/see a HB. Apparently my mother also has a tilted uterus, she had no m/c and 3 healthy children so I'm hoping all will be fine! :) I'm not going to see a specialist because of any of this, since I'm "low risk". She didn't even attempt to try and find a HB because she said it probably wouldn't be possible right now (I'm guessing this early on the technology relies on the baby being in a forward-tilting uterus which makes it easier to pick up on their recording devices). (An eating utensil might come in handy, too.) Other times, it seems that meal preparation requires every kitchen tool in the house. ![]() Sometimes, that just means a bowl or plate and the microwave. Additionally, we never had any issues with food getting jammed in the blender or the motor overheating.Every kitchen needs a set of tools. The scratch guard on the blender allowed it to glide along the bottom of our large pot without fear of ruining the surface of our cookware, and it was easily washed with hot water and soap. While blending time differs depending on how chunky you want your final dish, it never took us more than 10 minutes to complete the blending step of any recipe. So far, we've cooked several different soups with the blender attachment, including cauliflower and onion, roasted tomato and garlic, potato leek, and tortilla. This is important because you're not supposed to start the blender at high speeds right away but instead are supposed to slowly build up to higher speeds. ![]() The button to turn on the motor is right where you'd expect it to be when gripping the device, and you can easily adjust the speed with the top dial while you're still blending. The motor/handle is ergonomically designed for a natural grip and the material is soft to the touch. The Breville Control Grip couldn't be easier to handle during testing. We were able to blend a corn tortilla soup (left) and potato leek soup (right) in less than 10 minutes. You can use the large jug to stabilize the chopping bowl or to hold all the ingredients as you blend or whisk with the attachments. Plus, each part of the chopping bowl easily separates when it's time for cleanup. Click the motor into the lid of the chopping bowl, and it automatically connects to the blades at the bottom. While it's not technically a food processor, the chopping bowl has stainless steel blades that will perform the same essential function. Click it into the motor and you're ready to mix, aerate, and whisk anything you need. The whisk attachment is just as easy to use and clean. The bottom of the blender has a non-scratch exterior so you don't have to worry about ruining your pots if you get too close to the bottom or sides of your cookware. The immersion blender is 8-inches long, allowing you to fully submerge the blades into deep pots and its bell-shape design helps increase blending ability without splashing all over your kitchen counters. While Breville makes more powerful blenders than this, I've never had any issues blending cooked potatoes and cauliflower into a creamy soup. The motor gets up to 280 watts but can be adjusted within 15 different speed settings depending on how chunky you want your final product to turn out. The motorized handle can be used with the immersion blender, whisk, and chopping bowl, just click it into place and it automatically connects with whichever tool you're using. It comes with five major components - a motorized handle, immersion blender, whisk, chopping bowl, and extra-large jug. The set comes with a motorized handle, immersion blender, jug, chopping bowl, and whisk. Even though I'm relegated to the role of my girlfriend's sous chef in our apartment, home cooks will love the simplicity, versatility, and easy clean up that comes with the Breville Control Grip Immersion Blender. For $120, this has everything I need to make my favorite soups, dips, salsas, and more at home. That was until I tested the Breville Control Grip Immersion Blender. However, because I didn't have the proper equipment, I categorized most of my favorite soups as a "restaurant food," or recipes that seemed either too complicated, difficult, or ambitious for me to make at home. Soup is one of those comfort foods that I'm always in the mood for - I've been known to get an early morning cup of chicken lemon rice soup alongside my omelet at a diner. Anyone who has ever been blessed enough to eat with me at a restaurant knows that I'm going to ask the server the same question: "What's your soup of the day?" While it may be the middle of summer, for me it's soup season lasts in perpetuity. These include infections, particularly from viruses or bacteria or damage to the heart’s tissue or muscle as a result of autoimmune diseases, medicines, environmental factors, or other triggers, including, rarely, vaccines. It’s important to note heart inflammation can be caused by many factors. However, no causal link has been formally established. The US Centres for Disease Control notes these cases have been mostly in younger males (aged 16 years and older), usually appear within several days of vaccination, and are more common after the second dose. Recently there have been reports from overseas, including the United States and Israel, of myocarditis (heart inflammation) and pericarditis (inflammation of the lining of the heart) following vaccination with the Pfizer vaccine. Mick Tsikas/AAP Myocarditis and pericarditis On very rare occasions - about five in one million doses - someone will have an anaphylactic reaction after receiving the Pfizer vaccine. You may be referred for a specialist allergy consultation. If you happen to have had an acute allergic reaction after vaccination, it’s important you tell your doctor before getting a second dose of the same vaccine.
